The pickup line mechanic is busted. I picked heart breaker, right, thinking I’d be smooth. The text box goes blank for a second then she’s like “I’m bored.” No transition, no gradual annoyance. Just straight to bored. I reload, try technician. Same line, she suddenly wants to kiss. Makes no sense. The whole seduction part feels like rolling dice with a broken random number generator.

The dress up stuff is weirdly detailed though. You can buy this cheap looking red lingerie set and then zoom in and rotate Aria around like she’s a car in a showroom. I spent way too long doing that. The textures on the clothes are all stretched wrong, especially the skirts, they clip through her legs when she moves. But there’s something hypnotic about it. Like playing with a doll that’s slightly cursed. The real model thing is hit or miss, some of them look almost right, others like a bad wax statue. Anita Dark’s face in the beauty contest scene haunts me a little.

The sex scenes unlock after you manage to not get immediately rejected. They’re short loops, very mechanical. The sound is just one track on repeat, some generic smooth jazz that cuts off abruptly when the scene ends. I laughed out loud the first time. You can also bang a hooker or buy a lovedoll, which I did because why not. The doll just lies there. No interaction. A perfect summary of my romantic efforts in this game. The whole thing feels like a weird time capsule from early internet, unpolished in a way that’s almost charming if you squint. The brunette model tag is doing a lot of heavy lifting here since the other two girls are forgettable. I kept playing just to see the next stage of her undress, not because the arcade part was any fun. The hitbox on the falling figures is wider than it looks, so after a few tries you can just zone out and let your hand do the work while your eyes stay on her face. She has this expression that doesn't change at all between fully dressed and mostly naked, which accidentally becomes very funny if you play too long.

The photo tag means exactly what you think. Real human photos, low resolution by today's standards, but the nostalgia of tuning a dial-up modem is not included. But the scenes themselves, when you finally trigger them, have that specific Lesson of Passion jank where the animations loop weirdly and the sound effects sound like someone slapping wet ham. I keep coming back to these old flash games though. There's a directness modern titles lost. No crafting systems. No branching narratives about her tragic backstory. Just a timer, some tits, and a goal.

Wish the gym minigame wasn't just clicking the same button over and over. My finger still hurts thinking about it. The potency training is even weirder, some abstract minigame that's never explained. At least the exam scenes break up the monotony, even if failing them just means more grinding. The whole thing feels like a fever dream where nobody acts like a real human, least of all the teacher who apparently finds academic diligence deeply arousing. The static images of Aria are actually pretty good though, captured from her real shoots I think. They clash horribly with the cheap interface. That contrast, the glossy photos against the grey buttons, that's the whole experience right there. Something beautiful trapped in something ugly, and you're just clicking through to see more of it.
