The whole thing runs on a loop and nobody seems to care. Four girls, maybe five, all in various states of undress, grinding against the air in a room that looks like a budget hotel from 2006. The video quality is what gets me. It's not bad in a charming retro way, it's bad in a "filmed on a phone that was already outdated when Obama was in office" way. There's this one girl with a tattoo on her hip, a little butterfly, and every time she turns the compression artifacts just eat it alive. It becomes a smudge. A suggestion of a butterfly. That's the whole experience really, a suggestion of something hotter.
The audio is completely fried. Not in a fun distorted way, just loud and peaking. You can hear the fabric of their lingerie rustling more clearly than the shitty royalty free beat underneath. One girl, the blonde, keeps looking directly at the camera with this expression that's supposed to be sultry but lands somewhere between confused and mildly annoyed. Like she's trying to remember if she left the stove on. I couldn't stop watching her. The others are going through the motions, unclasping bras with the enthusiasm of someone taking out the trash. There's no tease, no buildup. Just clothes coming off and then they stand there, shifting their weight from foot to foot.
I wish there was a way to pick who you watch. You can't. It's just this fixed wide shot. The brunette on the left has potential, she actually moves like she's heard music before, but she's stuck in the corner of the frame half the time. The whole thing feels like security footage from a very sad, very specific brothel. I kept waiting for a jump scare or a punchline that never came. It's not a game. It's barely a video. It's a loop of real models doing the least they could possibly do, and I respect the honesty of that in a weird way. No fake promises. Just pixels and boredom and that butterfly dissolving into nothing.
