Right. So there's this one stage, the lava pits, and the hitbox on those floating skulls is complete bullshit. I'm not even joking. You'll be pixel perfect on your jump, fire off a star, and it'll just phase through them like they're on a lunch break. Meanwhile, some tentacle demon in the background is doing a full striptease routine, peeling off its... whatever demons wear, and I'm just trying not to lose my last life. The whole thing's a mess. A glorious, horny mess.
The shooting feels surprisingly tight for something this unpolished. It's a basic side scroller, arrows to move, Z to jump, X to shoot, S to skip the dialogue you'll definitely want to skip because the translation is pure word salad. You're some kind of magic girl blasting through hell, I think. Doesn't matter. What matters is the rhythm of dodging scythe traps while a boss flashes the screen with attack patterns and her own clothes start falling off piece by piece. You take a hit, you lose a bit of your own outfit too. Classic trade off. The sex for cash angle is weirdly transactional, like after a boss fight you get a scene where it's less "thanks for saving me" and more "here's the payment for services rendered," which is kind of cold but also, I dunno, honest?
The anime art is rough. Like, really rough in places, but then a boss transformation happens and suddenly there's this detailed hentai sequence that makes you wonder where the budget went. All into the tits, obviously. The magic effects are just sparkle pngs, but the strip animations have actual frames. Priorities. I alt-tabbed out to check discord during one death screen and forgot I was even playing for a solid ten minutes. Came back, died immediately to the same spike pit. The jump has this weird float to it that you never quite get used to.
Don't expect a hidden masterpiece. It's a janky shooter where demons pay you in lewd acts. That's the game. That's all of it. And sometimes, on a boring night, that's exactly enough.
