the first time the roommate pulls down her pajama pants and just... bends over the couch arm, i actually laughed. not because it was funny but because the animation was so stiff it looked like a sim glitching out. then she says something about needing a "firm hand" and the spanking sound effect kicks in. it's literally the same stock whip crack noise from those old flash games. you know the one. and somehow that made it hotter? i don't know man, this whole thing is a mess but it's a mess that works.

the writing jumps between genuinely sweet moments and dialogue that reads like it was translated through three different languages. one scene they're having this really tender conversation about boundaries and what they want to explore, and then literally two clicks later she's got her roommate tied to the kitchen chair with a charging cable while the text box says "you like that don't you, you little display case." display case. i still think about that. what does that even mean. the exhibitionism stuff comes out of nowhere too, like they'll be having breakfast and suddenly she's masturbating against the window while the neighbor watches. no buildup, no warning, just full send.

the kinetic novel format means you're just clicking through, no choices, which normally i'd hate but here it works because the pacing is so erratic you never know what weird shit is coming next. the oral sex scenes are actually animated pretty well, lots of tongue movement and the voice acting during those parts is... look i had to turn my phone face down on the bus. the roommate dynamic feels real even when the scenarios don't. there's this one anal scene where they're laughing about something stupid that happened earlier and it's the most human moment in the whole game, buried between graphic violence tags that i still haven't figured out because nothing violent happened unless you count that one spanking scene that got way too intense.

the bdsm elements are there but they're like... beginner level. someone read a wiki article about female domination and just went with it. the romance is actually the strongest part which is weird to say about a game where you can watch someone get fingerbanged on a balcony.
