Frost Pole again. That frozen shithole with the weird lighting. Episode 43 of Pussymon drops you back there for a xmas thing, some new girl wants to be a trainer or whatever. Eight new pussymon to catch, 27 animations. The animations are the whole point honestly. The sprite work is deliberately rough, like someone drew it with a mouse in 2007, but the sex loops have this janky charm. One of the new ice types does this thing where she rides you reverse cowgirl and her tail flicks every third frame. I rewound that like six times.

The side quest is fetch bullshit. Go to area 04 early morning with full stamina, find the easter egg. Miss the timing and you're locked out until next cycle. Annoying. But the new character, some reindeer furry with a dream, her arc is basically just an excuse to get her naked. Fine by me. The writing is full of typos but occasionally lands a joke that made me snort. There's a bit where your pussymon tries to sing a carol and it comes out as growling. Cute.

Combat is still rock paper scissors with extra steps. You'll grind. You'll skip text. You'll forget what the story was about. Then a new animation unlocks and suddenly you're back in. The cheat manager in the special edition helps if you just want the scenes. I don't know why I keep playing these episodes. The art is ugly in a way that loops back to hot. Like a sketchbook full of horny doodles that someone accidentally made into a game. This one has a legendary pussymon bonus scene that's basically a five minute loop of her bouncing on a candy cane. I'm not proud. But I'll be back for episode 44.
