Frank's tie is too tight and his wife is texting him about dinner but here I am clicking through his stupid office computer at 7PM on Halloween like some kind of digital voyeur. The game knows what it is. A blonde coworker walks by and suddenly the legal briefs don't matter anymore. That's the whole setup. You're supposed to finish work but the real quest is seeing how far you can push the office dress code before HR would have a collective aneurysm.

The strip mechanics are woven into this weird quest system where you're literally just trying to leave work. Click the computer, do lawyer stuff, but also maybe angle the webcam differently because Karen from accounting is wearing something that defies workplace safety regulations. The video clips are actual real model footage which gives it this uncanny valley feeling like you're watching security camera footage from a parallel universe where nobody got the memo about professional conduct. The blonde. God. She keeps walking past your desk and every time I'm supposed to be filing motions or whatever but instead I'm playing a minigame of "will she unbutton that blouse if I pretend to work hard enough."

The Halloween setting is doing some heavy lifting here. Spooky decorations in the background while you're trying to explain to yourself why you're still clicking through dialogue trees at this hour. The game doesn't care about your marriage. Frank's wife exists as a timer basically. A guilt mechanic. Every time you choose to watch the office shenanigans instead of finishing the Peterson case, somewhere a pixelated wedding ring loses its shine. The erotic content is surprisingly direct. No artistic metaphors. Just. Here's a woman. She's removing clothing. You're a lawyer who should know better. The tension isn't in the story it's in the fact that the game keeps asking "are you sure you want to keep watching?" and my answer was apparently yes, repeatedly, while the unfinished work piled up on the other monitor tab.

One thing that actually bugged me. The quest markers sometimes overlap with the video triggers so you'll be trying to click on a document and suddenly you're three layers deep into something HR would classify as a termination-worthy incident. No way to undo that. Frank just has to live with his choices. We both do.
