I don't know who decided the Naruto universe needed a god reincarnating into Neji's body with a harem route but here we are. The premise is so absurd it wraps back around to being kind of brilliant. Some omnipotent being gets bored, creates a vessel named Zeno, seals his own soul inside, and now every death means hopping to another anime world. First stop: Konoha, inside everyone's favorite branch family prodigy. The opening scene sets the tone immediately. You wake up as Neji, Hinata is right there, and the game wastes zero time establishing that yes, you can absolutely pursue her. The whole "God route vs Devil route" thing is interesting in theory but the Devil path feels undercooked compared to the main one. I spent way too long trying to figure out if certain dialogue choices actually mattered or if I was just clicking through text for no reason.
The combat is... there. It exists. It's not why anyone is playing this and the devs clearly know that. What works is the mind control mechanic, which lets you bypass the whole "building relationships" thing if you're impatient. The trainer elements are where the game actually shines. Hinata's scenes in particular have this weird mix of sweetness and corruption that I wasn't expecting from something this deliberately rough around the edges. The handjob scene early on caught me off guard with how detailed it was compared to everything else. Like someone spent 80% of the art budget on that one moment and then remembered they had a whole game to finish.
The POV shifts are disorienting in a way that feels accidental rather than artistic. One minute you're Neji, the next you're experiencing something from a completely different angle with no transition. The MILF content with Tsunade is there if you go looking for it but the path to get there is so convoluted I had to check a guide. The harem management gets messy fast. Characters overlap in ways that don't make sense timeline wise and the game just kind of shrugs and keeps going. I wish the death mechanic actually mattered more. You die, you go to another world, cool concept, but the execution makes it feel like a loading screen between unrelated games rather than a cohesive experience. The slave route is darker than I expected and the game doesn't really earn that tonal shift. Still thinking about that one Hinata scene though. The one where she's training and things escalate. You'll know it when you see it.
