The whole thing hinges on a six month anniversary and a boyfriend who forgot to exist. Christian is in the dog house, and the game asks you to talk him out of it. Or into it, depending on how you read Faith's mood. She's drawn in that loose Lesson of Passion style, all big eyes and a mouth that clearly has a job to do later. The first choice pops up almost immediately and I clicked the wrong thing on purpose just to see her get mad. She does. Then she forgives him way too fast, which is either bad writing or a very specific fantasy about women who just need a decent apology.
There's a blowjob scene that unlocks if you don't act like a complete tool. It's the main event, really. The animation is janky but in a charming way, like a flipbook made by someone who was very excited about the subject. Her head bobs, his hands hover awkwardly near her hair, and the sound is just wet enough to make you forget the dialogue was written by someone who's never heard two humans argue. You can pick between sweet talk and dirty talk, and the dirty talk option is hilariously blunt. She responds like she's reading from a script, but hey, the mouth is busy.
I spent too long on the title screen, honestly. The font choice is criminal. Comic Sans would have been classier. But once you're in, the visual novel pacing is quick, maybe five minutes to the good part if you skip the guilt tripping. There's no real branching beyond two endings, and one of them is just her kicking you out. I wanted her to stay mad longer, maybe make him beg more. But the game has other priorities, and those priorities involve her on her knees. Fine. I respect the focus.
Also, the gambling subplot goes nowhere. Like, they mention it twice and then it evaporates. Classic.
