The ball physics are completely broken. I spent maybe twenty minutes just watching the trajectory go nowhere near where I aimed, the power bar is this weird hold and release thing that feels like it was coded in a lunch break. But the blonde in the red bikini, when she lunges for a backhand, her top shifts in a way that made me forget I was supposed to be scoring points. It’s not a tennis game. It’s a staring contest with a UI.
You control one girl with the arrow keys, which is fine, but the opponent AI just sort of... exists. Sometimes she returns the ball, sometimes she stands there like she’s checking her phone. The spacebar mechanic, you hold it to build power, is sticky. Like my keyboard is fighting me. I was more focused on the sweat glistening on the character’s skin, a detail they clearly spent all their time on while ignoring the net collision detection. The beach background is static, a single image that doesn’t change, and the sound of the waves is a loop so short it becomes a form of psychological torture after the third rally.
I think the whole point is to lose, honestly. Because when your character misses a shot, she does this little frustrated jump, and the jiggle is the actual reward system. The sport tag is a lie. It’s a bikini simulator with a ball occasionally flying through the frame. The blonde’s swimsuit is a shade of red that feels aggressive, like it’s demanding attention, and the other girl’s design is so forgettable I can’t even describe her. There’s no winning screen I could find, just an endless loop of broken serves and that one animation where she bends to pick up a ball that never actually appears on the sand. My cat jumped on my desk and I didn’t even shoo her away, I was too busy trying to angle a shot that would make the character stretch in a specific way. The game doesn’t need a sequel, it needs a dedicated photo mode and maybe a patch that makes the ball behave less like a drunk seagull.
