You ever just get isekai'd into a world where the only way to not get turned into a frog or worse is to win a card game? Jack sure didn't plan on it. One minute he's a regular schlub, next he's in some tavern with a witch giving him the side eye and a deck of cards shoved into his hands. The whole thing runs on Texas Hold'em, but they call it Arcana here, and losing means more than just losing your gold. You lose a hand to a busty elf warrior and suddenly you're finding out just how flexible she is when she collects her winnings. The animated scenes are surprisingly smooth for something that feels like it was coded in a basement, lots of jiggle physics on those big tits and asses, which I guess is the real magic system here.

The card play itself is fine. It's poker. You know poker. What gets weird is the deck building stuff, finding magical cards that let you peek at the opponent's hand or force a fold. I spent way too long trying to beat this one monster in a crypt because I was distracted by the oral sex scene I unlocked when I finally won. The witch character, she's got this whole tsundere thing going on, but her handjob scene after a particularly tense match was worth the three losses it took to figure out her bluffing pattern. The game remembers your choices too, multiple endings and all that, so you can't just be a horndog and expect everyone to be cool with it. Well, you can, but then the mercenary lady stabs you. Not in the fun way.

The humor lands about half the time. Some dialogue feels like it was run through a translator that gave up halfway. But then Jack will say something so stupidly relatable about his situation that I snorted. The 3DCG character models have that slightly plastic look, but the lighting in the tavern scenes is actually kind of cozy? I don't know why I'm complimenting the ambiance of a porn game. The adventure bits between card games are where it drags, just clicking through forests and courts waiting for the next match. Wish there was a fast forward for the exploration. But then you get to the royal court and the queen challenges you and suddenly you're all in with your pants literally on the line. That's the kind of stakes I can get behind.
