I went in expecting another one of those gothic wankfests where the tits are bigger than the plot and the demon just wants to rearrange your guts in a sexy way. What I got instead was a survival horror VN that actually made my skin crawl while my dick was confused about the whole situation. The supernatural elements aren't just window dressing for the erotic bits, they're the whole goddamn nightmare and the sex is part of the horror, not a reward for surviving it.

The domination themes hit different when the thing dominating you has superpowers that make consent feel like a joke. There's this scene early on where a demon corners you in what looks like an abandoned chapel and the way the dialogue shifts from threatening to seductive to threatening again had me genuinely unsure if I was about to get a game over or a nude scene. Both outcomes are bad. That's the point. The bisexual content isn't tagged on for inclusivity points either, it's woven into how these entities operate. They don't care about your preferences, they care about what makes you squirm. The gothic atmosphere is thick enough to choke on, all crumbling stone and candlelight that makes the animated nude scenes feel more like autopsies than porn.

The visual novel format works against it sometimes. Clicking through text while a demon describes exactly how it's going to hollow you out and wear your skin loses tension when you're just tapping the screen waiting for the next CG. And the heterosexual scenes feel almost tame compared to everything else, like the writer got bored halfway through and just threw in some vanilla missionary with a succubus to meet a quota. The survival mechanics are barely there, mostly dialogue choices that either get you fucked literally or fucked metaphorically. I kept playing though. Not because it was hot, but because I needed to see how much worse it could get. The craving the title mentions isn't lust. It's the part of you that wants to see the car crash.
