ok so this game is basically what happens when honey select gets possessed by a horny creepypasta and i mean that as a compliment. you're this virgin dude who gets a letter from his deadbeat dad, right? shows up to some town called Dumbarton which already sounds like a place where the local diner serves human meat. the house is suspiciously clean. tuition's paid. classic setup for "your soul is now collateral."

the pov voyeur stuff hits different when you realize half the girls might actually murder you. there's this one chick who thinks she's a pirate. not like cosplay pirate, like genuinely will stab you in your sleep pirate. and she's got massive fucking tits because of course she does, this is a honey select joint. the blackmail scenes are where it gets properly unhinged. you can tease the monster girls or get teased, sometimes both at once, the harem route is basically collecting walking red flags with anime hair. my therapist would have a field day with why i kept choosing the obviously cursed dialogue options.

the 3dcg is that specific brand of jank where the boobs have their own gravitational field but the horror bits actually land. there's this one scene in the school at night where the lighting goes all wrong and something's breathing just off camera. genuinely creepy. then two minutes later you're getting a tittyfuck from a girl who might be a witch. the tonal whiplash should be illegal. the comedy is that absurdist "none of this makes sense but we're committed" energy, like the devs were on a sugar high and watched too much elfen lied.

wish the virgin protagonist would stop narrating every boner like it's a medical emergency. we get it dude, you've never seen cleavage before. the adventure parts drag when you're just clicking through empty rooms but then a girl in a cosplay outfit that defies physics shows up and threatens to eat your soul so whatever. the two routes thing is cool i guess, different flavors of "you're gonna die but at least you'll nut first." the fever dream sequences made me question if i'd accidentally opened a different game. not complaining.

The voice work in this thing, my god. There's this one scene early on with your step-sister, right after the first weird dream sequence, where she's just asking about breakfast but the actress layers in this tiny tremor, this barely there breathiness that completely sells the corruption arc before it even starts. I rewound it like four times. The school setting stuff is standard Honey Select fare, we've all seen those assets, but the audio direction during the more explicit scenes is genuinely unhinged in the best way. During a later anal scene with the prison warden character, the wet sounds are mixed way too high, it's almost comical, but the actress commits so hard with these guttural, desperate moans that it loops back around to being incredibly hot. I wish the horror elements had more of that same energy, the scary bits sound a bit flat in comparison, like they ran out of budget for proper stingers.

The corruption mechanic is tied to these little animated vignettes that pop up after you fail certain checks. I spent maybe an hour just failing on purpose to see the one with the librarian. The animation itself is janky, her tits clip through her arms constantly, but the voice actress does this thing where she starts off all prim and proper and then slowly, syllable by syllable, her voice cracks into this raw, pleading whimper. It's a masterclass. The male protagonist is silent, which is a crime, honestly. A grunt here or there would've elevated the whole thing. The masturbation scenes are fully voiced though, and the actress who does the main romance option, the one with the big tits and the mysterious mansion backstory, she has this way of stretching out certain words that just... look, I forgot what I was doing in the game for a solid ten minutes. Just sat there with my phone.

The whole save the world plot is nonsense, right? Astaroth this, esse est deus that. Who cares. There's a scene where you're infiltrating a prison and you seduce a guard by pretending to be a transfer from another facility. The oral sex animation that follows is pretty standard for a mobile game, a bit stiff, but the sound design. The muffled gagging is so perfectly captured, it sounds like a real struggle, not just a stock effect. It's gross and perfect. The romance path is weirdly sweet though, the pillow talk voice lines after the vaginal sex scene have this genuine warmth that clashes horribly with the next scene where you're probably corrupting a nun or whatever. That tonal whiplash is the whole game in a nutshell. It's a mess. A hot, aural mess.
