ok so this game is basically what happens when honey select gets possessed by a horny creepypasta and i mean that as a compliment. you're this virgin dude who gets a letter from his deadbeat dad, right? shows up to some town called Dumbarton which already sounds like a place where the local diner serves human meat. the house is suspiciously clean. tuition's paid. classic setup for "your soul is now collateral."

the pov voyeur stuff hits different when you realize half the girls might actually murder you. there's this one chick who thinks she's a pirate. not like cosplay pirate, like genuinely will stab you in your sleep pirate. and she's got massive fucking tits because of course she does, this is a honey select joint. the blackmail scenes are where it gets properly unhinged. you can tease the monster girls or get teased, sometimes both at once, the harem route is basically collecting walking red flags with anime hair. my therapist would have a field day with why i kept choosing the obviously cursed dialogue options.

the 3dcg is that specific brand of jank where the boobs have their own gravitational field but the horror bits actually land. there's this one scene in the school at night where the lighting goes all wrong and something's breathing just off camera. genuinely creepy. then two minutes later you're getting a tittyfuck from a girl who might be a witch. the tonal whiplash should be illegal. the comedy is that absurdist "none of this makes sense but we're committed" energy, like the devs were on a sugar high and watched too much elfen lied.

wish the virgin protagonist would stop narrating every boner like it's a medical emergency. we get it dude, you've never seen cleavage before. the adventure parts drag when you're just clicking through empty rooms but then a girl in a cosplay outfit that defies physics shows up and threatens to eat your soul so whatever. the two routes thing is cool i guess, different flavors of "you're gonna die but at least you'll nut first." the fever dream sequences made me question if i'd accidentally opened a different game. not complaining.
