Right out the gate this thing is a beautiful disaster, a connect the dots fever dream where some poor anime girl with absolutely physics defying sweater puppies is just waiting for you to trace around her curves without your cursor slipping. The holiday theme is slathered on thick, tinsel and santa hats everywhere like a department store vomited christmas spirit. First level is deceptively simple, just a few points to hit, and then boom, you're staring at a jpeg that makes you feel things you probably shouldn't feel during advent.
But then the difficulty curve hits like a truck full of bricks wearing a sexy reindeer costume. By level four I'm sweating, my hand cramping, trying to navigate around these weird spinning geometric shapes that guard the path to anime tiddy like they're the final boss in a bullet hell. The game calls itself funny and yeah, the absurdity of failing a tracing minigame for the fifteenth time while a big boobed elf just stares at you with those dead anime eyes, it's peak comedy. Or tragedy. I honestly forgot where I was going with this.
The gallery system is the real star, a trophy case of questionable decisions. You don't just play for points, you play because that locked image is burning a hole in your curiosity. There's this one picture, the xmas costume one, where the hat is barely hanging on. It's ridiculous. It's glorious. The points system feels almost insulting, a scoreboard for your descent into degeneracy. And the sound design? Nonexistent. I played the whole thing listening to a youtube video about ancient pottery. The disconnect was something else. A weird, sacred space between a failed line and a successfully revealed hentai panel. My mouse is sticky now. Not from that. Well, maybe a little from that. The spinning candy cane obstacle can go straight to hell though.
