There is something very wrong with the shuffling algorithm, and I mean that as the highest compliment to a game like this. It feels like the deck itself wants her clothes off, like some unseen patron with too many angles is stacking the royal flushes just so you can watch that red dress slide down one shoulder at a time. The whole thing runs in browser, no fuss, just straight into a poker variant where you discard and redraw, trying to build a hand while she matches you. Beat her, she strips. Lose, she mocks you with this little smirk that suggests she knows about the thing in your family tree that wasn't quite human. I lost three hands in a row on purpose just to see if her victory dialogue would get more condescending. It did.
The model they used, a real woman, not some rendered thing, has this almost unsettling stillness between animations. She doesn't fidget like a normal person. She just watches. And when the cards come down, the way her blouse goes from buttoned to half open isn't played for pure titillation, it's played like a ritual. I kept expecting a secondary set of eyelids to blink horizontally. The game's called a striptease, and technically that is what happens, but the stripping feels secondary to the stare. It's all very mobile friendly, designed for one thumb operation while the other hand is busy holding a candle or drawing a summoning circle or whatever you people do.
Wish there was a way to skip her thinking animation. It takes three seconds and I will never get those cumulative minutes of my life back. Not that my life is particularly valuable, but still. The whole thing is aggressively unpolished in a way that loops back around to being more effective than something slick. The sound of cards hitting the felt is the exact same stock effect from a thousand other games and yet here it sounds like scales being sc*** off a stone floor. Probably not fixing that. Probably shouldn't.
