The elf queen spread her legs and the tentacle just... slid in. No negotiation, no foreplay, just that wet squelch and her back arching off the throne. I was mid-sip of my coffee and nearly choked. That's the opening scene, basically. Tentacles Thrive v2.08, and it doesn't pretend to be anything else.
The game's a weird mix. You're supposed to be discovering species, stealing Lilith's heart, managing the Humana race, all that strategy layer stuff. But honestly I spent most of my time in the breeding screen. You pick an elf, pick a tentacle type, and the game does this real-time battle thing where the elf's stamina bar drains while the monster's... appendages do their work. Rough sex tag is earned. The sound design is sparse but the three new voice clips they added? One of them is just this high-pitched whimper that loops. I left it on while doing dishes and my neighbor knocked to ask if I was okay.
The map function opens up six new territories, and there's a scouting feature now. I sent a unit to scout, forgot about it, and when I came back there was a birth event notification with no graphic attached. Just text. "A new hybrid has been born." Thanks. Real immersive. The diary section is half-empty, the encyclopedia has lore for like three species, and the army inventory holds any amount of units which sounds great until you realize there's no cap and you can just stack fifty elves in one tile like a clown car.
But then the tentacle monster pins an elf against a tree and the animation glitches so her leg bends backwards, and I laughed so hard I had to pause. It's unpolished as hell. The world map just... ends. No climax, no resolution. You unlock it and the alpha stops. Like edging but for strategy gamers.
