The cutscene direction in this one, my god. It’s like watching a student film where the camera operator just discovered the zoom function and has a crush on the protagonist’s ass. Which, I mean, for this kind of thing, is basically the brief. Alyssa’s leaving campus for a holiday hookup setup with her cousin Emilee, and the whole thing has that unrendered, slightly sticky look of a game that was probably made in a weekend fueled by energy drinks and a very specific vision. The animation loops are janky, characters slide into place like they’re on greased casters, and the lip syncing is a war crime. But then Emilee leans in to whisper about her plans for boys and sex, and the awkward stillness of the models somehow makes it more intense, like a dirty diorama you can poke with your mouse.
Typing BIKE into the game does something. I won’t spoil it but it’s the most interesting design choice, a weird little cheat code that unlocks a scene that feels like it was animated by a completely different, slightly more competent person. The quest structure is barely there, just a flimsy excuse to bounce between locations where the dialogue is pure porn logic. Alyssa’s supposed to be job hunting but the story forgets that immediately. The whole thing is a mess of clipping polygons and dead eyed stares that, against all reason, works if you’re already three fingers deep into a click and rub session. The sound design is just some guy’s keyboard clacks and a royalty free moan track that loops like a broken smoke alarm.
The therapist in me would say Emilee’s hypersexual focus is a textbook case of using physical connection to avoid the existential dread of a wasted vacation, while Alyssa’s passivity masks a deep need for direction she’s too proud to ask for. But really, you’re here to see how far the jiggle physics can bend before the model breaks. Don’t expect a coherent ending, just a series of increasingly explicit still frames that feel like a reward for tolerating the world’s most awkward walking simulator. The real pro tip is to ignore the main path and just keep clicking on the beach towel, that’s where the animator clearly spent all their budget and gave up on everything else.
