Robin Quest. god. i remember when this first dropped on patreon, some messy little experiment from a creator who basically said "fuck it, here's my old garbage." and honestly? that energy is the whole vibe. you're playing as this cut purse princess who looks like someone drew her from memory after three beers, and she's fighting through levels that feel like they were designed by a cat walking across a keyboard. the hitboxes are a crime. jumping feels like you're controlling a bag of wet cement. but there's something almost charming about how broken it is, like watching a cosplay skit where everything goes wrong but the performer just commits harder.
the tentacle scenes hit different when the physics engine is actively betraying you. like, you'll be trying to dodge some fireball spam (arcade mode is brutal in the dumbest way) and suddenly you're caught in a grab animation that looks like it was coded at 4am after too much coffee. the brunette princess gets absolutely wrecked, and the hardcore stuff is there, full on, no fade to black bullshit. but the jank makes it almost funnier than it is hot? sometimes the tentacles clip through her body in ways that defy anatomy and you're just sitting there like... well that's not how that works. still fapped though.
the creator basically dared people to hate it and i kinda respect that. the controls are ass, the graphics are bland as promised, and half the time you're fighting the camera more than the enemies. but when you nail that one perfect dodge and get rewarded with a surprisingly detailed hentai scene, it's like finding a rare pepe in a sea of normie memes. the fireball patterns are genuinely unfair and i'm still mad about stage 3. why does the princess look like a completely different character between scenes? the whole thing is a beautiful disaster, like that one newgrounds game you weren't supposed to play during computer class. five years old and it feels like it. wouldn't have it any other way.
