Ok so the thing about this game, right, is that the setup is basically a sci-fi porno version of that one Spiderman meme where they're all pointing at each other. You're some lab coat nerd who fries the interdimensional toaster and wakes up in a world where your hot physics professor is suddenly a twink with a tail and a completely different set of life choices. My brain immediately went to "oh great, another kinetic novel where I just click through walls of text" but then I got stuck on this one scene with the wolf guy, the one who's supposed to be your boss in the normal world but here he's like... a barista with a secret? The writing is actually doing that thing where the dialogue feels like real people being awkward and horny instead of just reading off a script.

The kemono designs are doing a lot of heavy lifting, not gonna lie. Some of the sprites have that slightly janky, unpolished look where the anatomy goes a little noodle-y around the shoulders, but honestly it adds to the charm. Feels like finding a really good doujin on a random forum at 3 AM. The gay bara energy is strong with a couple of the characters, especially the tiger dude who I kept picking dialogue options for even when it made no sense. My little neuron activation just seeing those stripes.

The whole parallel universe gimmick means you get these weirdly emotional beats where you're trying to flirt with someone who technically knows you but also doesn't, and the game doesn't shy away from the explicit stuff when it finally gets there. Some routes feel rushed though, like they ran out of steam right when things were getting interesting. The lion character's arc just kinda... stops? And I'm still mad about it. Anyway the physics talk is complete nonsense but who's here for accurate quantum mechanics, we're here for the furry dick and surprisingly tender moments that make you feel single in a very specific way.
