The first time I saw Lucy in that tight secretary skirt from the flashback, I knew this was gonna be one of those games where the mom is basically a walking "notice me" sign. And the devs knew it too because the whole plot hinges on her being desperate and you being this traumatized wet noodle of a protagonist named James. Classic setup. Your dad gets merked in a robbery, you become bully bait, and now you're hopping schools like a flea on a hot sidewalk until daddy's old "friend" Ron shows up with a deal that smells worse than gym socks.

The writing is... look, it's not gonna win awards but it knows exactly what buttons it's pushing. The bullying scenes actually made me uncomfortable in a way that felt intentional, like the game wants you to stew in that powerlessness before it starts handing you the mind control keys. And oh boy, the mind control. There's this one scene where you first use it on a classmate and the ahegao face just pops up with zero warning. I laughed. I'm not proud of it but I laughed. The animation is janky as hell, like someone learned Spine yesterday and said "fuck it, ship it," but somehow that adds to the whole grimy vibe.

What really got me though was the blackmail system. You collect dirt on people and the game doesn't pretend this is some noble revenge fantasy. You're just being a creep with a camera and the dialogue options lean into it hard. The twins subplot felt undercooked though. They show up, there's some cosplay teasing, and then the story forgets they exist for like three hours of gameplay. I kept waiting for them to matter again but nope, just more scenes with Lucy at her new job which, surprise, involves a lot of bending over and "accidental" groping from her boss. The debt thing is basically a flimsy excuse to push her into increasingly degrading situations and honestly? The game owns that. It doesn't pretend to be deep. The multiple endings thing is real though, I got one where everything went full slave route and another that was weirdly sweet in a "we're both broken people" kind of way. The lactation content unlocks way later than you'd think and by then I'd already moved on emotionally. Still, for what it is, the corruption arc pacing is solid even if the dialogue sometimes reads like it was translated through three different languages and a toaster.
