I was in the middle of a match in some generic mobile gacha, you know the type, and the ad for this popped up. Kingdom Harem. Four girls staring at me like I owed them something. The redhead on the left had this look. Not sexy, exactly. More like she knew I’d just spent actual money on a.png of a sword. I closed the app and typed it in anyway.

The premise is you almost die and wake up in a forest with two elves and two redheads. A harem, obviously. But the "almost dying" part is just... there. A sentence. Then boom, tits. The art is that super clean CG hentai style where everything glows a little too much. One of the elves has a blush that never goes away, even when she’s talking about picking berries. It’s weirdly hypnotic. I kept poking at the dialogue just to see if her face would ever return to a normal color. It didn’t. The first explicit scene happens fast, with the other elf. She’s got this ribbon thing in her hair that keeps clipping through her shoulder during the animation. It’s a small loop, a moan, a facial expression that cycles between "surprised" and "intensely focused on something just off screen." I rewound it three times, not because it was hot, but because I was trying to figure out if her ear was supposed to be that long. Elves, man.

There’s no real adventure, despite the description. You mostly just pick who to talk to, and they like you automatically because you’re the guy who didn’t die. One redhead is fiery, the other is shy, and the elves are... elves. The shy redhead has a scene where she drops a basket of fruit and her top just sort of gives up. I laughed. Not in a mean way. It was just so sudden. The whole thing feels like someone made a fantasy world but only furnished one room and then locked the door. I don’t know if I’m a changed person after playing it, but I do know I can’t look at a normal redhead now without thinking about that damn fruit basket.
