I keep coming back to this one, not because it's good exactly, but because something about the whole setup feels like a bootleg DVD menu from 2004. You know the type. The blonde model has this expression that's trying to be sultry but lands somewhere between confused and mildly inconvenienced, like she just remembered she left the oven on. The blackjack mechanics are weirdly specific, you get four cards and the deck is split into four piles, and you can swap cards from any pile which honestly makes getting 21 trivial after the first few rounds. I don't know why I expected a challenge from a strip blackjack game but here we are.
The striptease animations are where things get interesting in a way I didn't anticipate. She doesn't just remove clothes, there's this awkward pause between each piece like she's waiting for a cue that never comes. It reminds me of those old romance anime OVAs where the fanservice scenes would linger three seconds too long and you'd start feeling like you walked in on something private. Except here the whole point is that you're supposed to be watching. The real model aspect adds this uncanny layer that pixel art or drawn characters wouldn't have, like when she removes the top and her shoulders do this thing where the motion doesn't quite match human anatomy but it's close enough to make you tilt your head.
I wish the card discard system had some kind of penalty or risk element. Right now you can just keep cycling through subdecks until you hit 21 and there's no consequence for taking forever. The blonde just stands there, occasionally shifting weight from one foot to the other, which I guess is realistic if you think about it. Nobody's that patient in real life. The whole thing runs in browser and I've had it crash twice on my phone when I tried to switch cards too fast, something about the touch input not registering properly on Chrome. Firefox handles it better but who uses Firefox for this kind of thing. Actually I do apparently. The sound design is nonexistent which somehow makes the whole experience more awkward, just silence punctuated by card flip sounds that are way too loud compared to everything else. Like someone dropped a playing card on a tile floor in an empty room.
