The face is wrong. That's what keeps nagging at me. Hana Song, D.Va, whatever you want to call her, she's got this specific shape to her eyes in the actual animations, a certain roundness to her cheeks. Hanawakening gets close but not quite, and I fixated on this for maybe twenty minutes before I even clicked past the first scene. The proportions are off in that way hentai parodies always are, making her more petite, more delicate. Which, fine, that's the point I guess.
The setup is this boyfriend fantasy where you're already with her, already her teammate, already living the dream. Then a mysterious email shows up. Then the main villain Gwishin vanishes and something dark stirs underground. Standard stuff. What's not standard is how the game handles the corruption angle. It's not a sudden switch. She doesn't just wake up different. There's this slow erosion happening through the visual novel segments, little cracks in her dialogue that made me genuinely uncomfortable in a way I wasn't expecting from a fap game. The CG scenes are explicit, absolutely, but the writing between them carries this weight. A line she says about trust, right before things shift, actually made me pause. In a porn game. About an Overwatch character.
The sex scenes themselves are well drawn if you like the style, very clean linework, lots of closeup focus. The animation is minimal, mostly just transitions between stills with some motion effects layered on. Wish there was more interactivity beyond clicking through dialogue choices. Some kind of branching system where your decisions actually mattered beyond which hole gets shown next. But the game commits to its linear descent and that's what you're buying. The Gwishin plot thread feels almost like an afterthought, something to justify the corruption rather than a real narrative engine. I wanted more of the dark plan, more of the horror elements they tease. Instead you get maybe three lines about it and then back to the bedroom. Or wherever. The location changes but I stopped paying attention to the backgrounds after a while.
