The hammer swing animation loops after three strikes. I counted. Fourteen times before I realized I was supposed to click something. The blonde carpenter, let's call her Helga because the game doesn't name anyone, just stands there with her toolbelt sagging under the weight of... well, not tools. Her uniform is that orange safety vest thing that somehow unzips from the bottom up. Physics don't work that way. Neither do hammers.
She's supposed to be teaching the male character how to use his tool. Subtle. The whole premise is this weird striptease where each correctly hammered nail removes one article of clothing. But the nails aren't actually going into anything. They just disappear into a flat brown texture that might be wood or might be cardboard. The sound effect is stock. I've heard it in three other games this month alone. The arcade element is just a timing minigame where you click when a moving bar hits a green zone. Miss and she puts clothes back on. Which is frustrating because the green zone is tiny and my mouse has this slight drift issue I've been meaning to fix since January.
The real model tag is doing heavy lifting here. She's clearly based on someone specific, that particular shade of platinum blonde that only exists in bottles and certain corners of the internet. Her expression never changes. Dead eyes staring past the screen while her arms move in that mechanical striptease rhythm. It's almost philosophical, really. The ethics of depicting a worker whose actual job skills are irrelevant to her digital purpose. Marx would have something to say about alienation from labor. I just wanted to see some tits.
The tool mechanic is underdeveloped. You get one hammer. No upgrades. No different nail types. Just click, miss, curse, restart. The uniform comes off in the wrong order. Safety vest first, which makes no sense because that's the outermost layer. Then the hard hat. Then... you know what, never mind. The game doesn't care about logic and neither should you.
