Okay so you know that feeling when you're scrolling through itch.io at 2am and you find something that's basically a very specific kink delivery system wrapped in a "what if you were a billionaire" fantasy? That's this. The renders are, let's be honest, a bit stiff. Like the characters sometimes look like posable action figures that haven't quite figured out how elbows work. But then you get to a scene where your childhood bestie is on her knees in your penthouse, tears in her eyes, and the dialogue hits this weirdly genuine note about desperation and gratitude, and suddenly you forget about the slightly wonky lighting on her collarbone.
The whole thing hinges on this moral choice system that's less about being good or evil and more about how much of a manipulative bastard you want to be. You can literally pay off her debts and be a decent human being. Or you can, uh, not do that. The corruption route is where the taboo tags really earn their keep. There's this one moment where you're deciding whether to offer a "payment plan" with very specific conditions, and the writing doesn't shy away from how gross and hot that power imbalance is. The game knows exactly what it's doing, which I respect even when I'm clicking through scenes with my hand half-covering my eyes like I'm watching a horror movie.
Wish there was more variety in the outfits though. For a game that's basically a dress-up fantasy with extra steps, the wardrobe options are surprisingly limited. She's in that same grey sweater for like three scenes straight. Come on. Give me something to work with here. My cosplay planning brain is starving. The CGs later on get better, NeonGhosts clearly improved after taking over the art, but early chapter stuff has that "commissioned from someone who was paid per character" energy. Still. The taboo content is taboo-ing. If you're into the whole "corruption of the innocent but she's also your best friend and you've loved her forever" thing, this scratches that itch with the precision of a backscratcher designed by Freud himself.
