Right so the whole thing is pool but not pool. Duplex billiard, they call it. You and the opponent shoot at the same time which sounds like chaos and honestly it is. The balls just go everywhere. I spent a good five minutes just watching the physics glitch out when two balls collided mid table, it was more entertaining than the actual stripping at first. There's this one blonde, real model type, her idle animation has her leaning on the cue stick and her hip just. Yeah. The game knows what it's doing.
The strip mechanic is tied to sinking balls obviously. But here's the thing, the opponent AI is either brain dead or a savant, no middle ground. One round she'll scratch three times in a row and I'm collecting wins like candy, next round she's pulling off these impossible bank shots. I got stuck on the brunette for way too long because she kept doing this thing where she'd clear half the table before I even lined up my shot. The lesbian tag comes in when you pick the girl vs girl mode, the interactions get a bit more... charged. The way they look at each other between turns. There's a specific animation when one girl loses a piece of clothing and the other does this little smirk. I dunno who animated that but they understood the assignment.
The real model thing is hit or miss. Some of the textures look like they were pulled from a photoshoot and slapped on a rig without much love. The blonde's hair clips through her shoulder constantly. But then you get to the later stages of the striptease and the lighting changes, this warm glow, and suddenly the jank doesn't matter as much. The billiard table itself has this green felt that reflects light in a way that's almost too good compared to everything else. I got distracted by it. Forgot I was supposed to be aiming. The sound design is just stock effects and some generic lounge music that loops poorly, there's a skip in the track that happens every forty seconds and once you notice it you can't unhear it. Drove me up the wall. But the way the cue ball sounds when it hits, that solid click, that's satisfying. Small mercies.
