The whole thing feels like someone’s half remembered dream about a dating sim, you know? Blurring the Walls, right. The art is this weird soup of human and AI stuff, nothing fully one or the other, and it gives everything a slightly uncanny gloss. Like the main girl, her eyes are super detailed and wet looking but her hand in one scene just sort of melts into the bedsheet. Spent way too long staring at that. The hentai bits are there, full on, no fade to black, which is what you’re here for. The moans are these little looping audio clips that cut off weirdly if you click too fast. Clicking through dialogue about her tragic fantasy kingdom backstory while she’s half undressed, the pacing is all over the place. The romance is supposed to be the core but it’s like speedrunning a relationship, one minute you’re meeting her in a magic forest, next she’s confessing her soul. The AI generated parts of the text have this flatness, like a very horny robot trying to be poetic and just missing. Then a line of actual human written filth hits and it’s jarring, in a good way. Makes you wonder who wrote what.

Got stuck on a choice for a bit, whether to touch her hair or her shoulder. Picked shoulder, she blushed, same as if I’d picked hair I bet. The branching feels like an illusion. There’s a scene where she’s on top and her sprite glitches for a second, just a flicker, and I thought my phone was dying. Nope, just the game. The fantasy setting is basically just a backdrop for the fucking, some nonsense about a curse that can only be broken by, you guessed it. The visual novel part is bare bones, just text boxes over the sometimes melting art. Wish there was more actual game to it, some mechanic beyond clicking. But then I remember I’m on a crowded bus trying to angle the screen away from the guy next to me, so maybe it’s the perfect amount of brain off. The whole thing is a messy, horny, glitchy little thing that doesn’t quite know if it’s a love story or just a wank aid. The memory of that melting hand is gonna stick with me longer than any of the dialogue.
