It's effective. The voice acting is only partial, mostly during the adult scenes, and the maid's VA goes way harder than she needed to. Respect.

I do wish the game would stop pretending the carpenter backstory matters after the first hour. It brings it up constantly like we forgot, but Isaac's been wearing silk for three chapters, let it go. Also the harem management system is basically just picking who to talk to at night and hoping you don't accidentally lock yourself out of the scene where the knight lady admits she's never been touched before. That scene is worth it though. She's so awkward about it, keeps trying to maintain eye contact like it's a duel.

Hearing her voice, actually hearing it, while you're scrolling through photos of the new girl's ass, that's the most effective horror I've experienced in an adult game. Wish there was more of that. Won't be though. The dev moved on to something else, I think. If you play it, don't save. Just let it run and see where you end up. The autosave feature is broken anyway.
