You know that feeling when you finally get to the casting couch and the girl across from you is Tifa but also somehow Froppy and they both want the same role? WaifuHub is that dream collapsing into a browser tab. The whole thing is a work in progress, glitchy as hell, and honestly I respect that. You’re the guy with the clipboard, and the waifus are lined up like it’s a very specific kind of job fair. Bulma’s there. Satsuki from Kill la Kill. Even Kobayashi, which is a choice. The site doesn’t pretend to be polished. The menus are rough, the transitions feel like someone coded it with one hand, and the ahegao faces sometimes trigger at the wrong moment, like Chizuru will be mid-sentence and suddenly her eyes roll back for no reason. That’s the charm, I guess.

The actual content is what you’d expect if you’ve been on this corner of the internet long enough: oral, vaginal, big everything, monster girl stuff if you count Kobayashi’s dragon maid situation. The male protagonist is just a stand-in, no personality, which is fine because nobody’s here for him. But here’s the thing, the game forgets its own premise halfway through. You’re supposed to be interviewing them, right? But after two clicks you’re just clicking through static scenes with zero buildup. Hana Uzaki’s ass is rendered like a physics demo and I’m not complaining, but the “casting” part vanishes. You don’t pick lines, you don’t negotiate, you just scroll.

Still, there’s a weird honesty to it. The 2DCG art has that hand-drawn smear that makes Asuna’s tits look like they were sketched on a napkin during a boring meeting. Tifa’s model is straight out of a Final Fantasy fever dream, and Uzaki-chan’s expressions are so exaggerated I laughed mid-scene. Not every waifu gets equal treatment. Cheelai from DBZ shows up for one scene and then disappears like she remembered she had a shift at the space bar. The mobile game tag makes sense because this feels like something you’d alt-tab to during a conference call, not something you’d plan an evening around. It’s messy, horny, and unfinished, and I keep coming back to see if they fixed the Bulma scene yet. They haven’t.

The casting couch setup in WaifuHub is basically a fever dream for anyone who's spent too much time on nhentai. You're this producer guy, right, and you're auditioning waifus for adult films. Not original but who cares when Mamako walks in looking like that. The whole thing runs in browser, no downloads, which is nice until the third time it freezes on my phone and I have to refresh. Lost my progress with Komi twice. Not that there's much progress to lose, it's pretty straightforward.

The art is 2D and deliberately rough around the edges. Like someone drew it during a boring meeting. Elma's scene has this weird thing where her expression shifts from confused to ahegao in literally one frame, no transition. Made me laugh but also kinda hot? The proportions are all over the place. Albedo's chest is massive, bigger than in the actual Overlord, and Wiz looks like she's about to fall over from the weight. Sumi's scene is surprisingly tender though, she's blushing the whole time and the oral part feels almost romantic compared to the others. Almost.

The game keeps adding girls, it says it's ongoing. Right now you get the Konosuba crew, some Dragon Maid characters, Genshin's Mona doing things that would get you banned from the official subreddit. The interview mechanic is barebones, you click through dialogue then the scene plays. Sometimes the audio desyncs, sometimes the loop gets stuck and Mamako just keeps bouncing forever. Not complaining exactly. For a free browser game it delivers exactly what it promises. Just wish the skip button was bigger, my thumb kept missing it.
