Right from the jump, that chat log style opening. You know the one, where you're staring at a screen within a screen, reading messages that feel a little too real. The art's deliberately rough, unpolished in a way that somehow makes the whole thing feel more intimate, like finding a sketchbook you weren't meant to see. It’s not a big dramatic moment, she just does it while talking about something else, and the protagonist's internal monologue just short circuits into static. That hit harder than any elaborate bondage rigging ever could. The femdom here isn't about leather and dungeons, it's psychological. The way she weaponizes his insecurities, calling him out on his bullshit with a smile, is more devastating than a whip. The explicit content is there, uncensored and direct, but the real heat comes from the dialogue. She'll give a command that's both cruel and weirdly caring, and you realize the protagonist, and by extension you, are completely lost in her rhythm. The romance tag is earned, not in a sweet way, but in a fucked up, co-dependent way that makes perfect sense in the moment.

Wish the sound design had more... bite. Just some ambient noise, a creak, anything. The silence is loud. But then you get to the first real punishment scene and all I could focus on was the dialogue box. The way she explains exactly why he deserves this, it's like a masterclass in verbal humiliation. The slave tag isn't just a label, it's a slow, deliberate dismantling of a person. He stops being a man and becomes a thing, and the game makes you sit with that transformation for way too long. There's a moment where he's on his knees and the text just describes the texture of her floor, and I swear I spaced out for a full minute just thinking about that. The BDSM isn't aesthetic, it's messy and transactional. You come out of it feeling a bit hollow, which I think is the entire goddamn point.

ok so this one hits different. not in a good way necessarily but like. you know when you're scrolling through a site and you see a game that's clearly made in renpy or whatever and the art is kinda jank but the premise grabs you by the throat? that's JustAFriend. the whole thing is framed as a phone screen. you're literally reading chats and looking at pics that pop up. lisa is bored, her man is always working, and her "friend" suggests this app. you already know where this is going. the ntr tag is right there. but what got me is how mundane it starts. she's just... chatting. sending selfies. the slow creep of it.

the phone format is clever though. feels invasive. like you're holding someone else's unlocked phone at a party while they're in the bathroom. the choices branch into different types of cheating scenarios, ntr and nts paths, and sometimes you lock yourself out of a whole storyline permanently. characters just vanish if you mess up. no takebacks. that's actually kinda brutal for a porn game. most of these things let you save scum your way to every scene but here if lisa ghosts someone, that thread is dead. i respect that even if it pissed me off when i lost the neighbor route early.

the art is inconsistent. some cgs are hot, others look like someone traced over a 3d model and called it a day. the writing has that translated feel, a bit stiff but weirdly charming? like when someone texts you "i am feeling very sensual tonight" and you know what they mean but you still laugh. the sex scenes are explicit, no fade to black bullshit. but the real hook is the dread. watching lisa slide into worse decisions while her boyfriend texts her about overtime. that's the good stuff. the game doesn't judge you for picking the cheating options which i appreciate. it just shows you the mess and lets you wallow in it.
